Universally admired and respected by the sporting community, Crowie is a three-time Ironman World Champion (2008, 2009, 2011), 2 x Ironman 70.3 World Champion (2006, 2011) and three-time Australian Long Course Champion (2010, 2006, 2004). Crowie has also received multiple prestigious sports awards and, perhaps most meaningfully, was lauded as “the first true men’s champion the sport has seen in years” by none other than Ironman legend and six-time World Champion Dave Scott.

Pat Farmer is a professional ultra-marathon runner. Inspired by the great Cliffy Young, Pat ran the Sydney to Melbourne Ultramarathon back when he was just 18 years old. Since then, Pat has accomplished some of the greatest feats on Earth. In 2011/12 Pat ran over 20 000km from the North Pole to the South Pole, through Canada, America, Central America and South America. Henk Vogels

Henk Vogels

Henk Vogels has been involved in cycling for most of his life, turning professional at the age of twenty one. As a Professional Cyclist Henk competed in two Tours of France, two Tours of Italy and two Tours of Spain. He competed in eight World Championships, claimed podium finishes in Classics such as Gent Wevelgem and finished in the greuling Paris Roubaix inside the top ten. He was also Australian Professional Road Champion in 1999. Daniel holds a degree in Medical Science is also the current head coach for the Western Sydney Academy of Sport Junior Triathlon Program

Alex is also a Level 2 Triathlon coach, owning his own business; AP10, which has 80 athletes and 5 coaches. He is also competitive triathlete himself, having won bronze at long course World Championships and has a current PB over Ironman of 9:09!

Heather Hawkins, Adventurer and Endurance Runner & Can Too Ambassador

Heather Hawkins…a 52 year old wife and mother from Coogee NSW…who in 2007 was diagnosed with Stage One Ovarian Cancer – with an 18cm tumour.

With extensive surgery, and a new form of post operative treatment, she is now in remission…and with a new lease on life and proudly an Ambassador for the CanToo Foundation.

Heather achieved her Surf Lifesaving Bronze Medal in 2009, which gave her a new perspective on what she could achieve physically.

Heather then took up running for the first time in 2012, (a 4km Fun Run) and since then has completed 6 x half Marathons, 18 x Full Marathons, and 3 x Ul-tra Marathons being 50 &100km.

These included the 2015 North Pole Marathon – Female Winner, and the in-credible World Marathon Challenge, held in January 2016, covering 7 Mara-thons in 7 days, on 7 Continents – all completed in 168 hrs.

Between February 2016 and August 2016 Heather trekked the worlds longest and highest Alpine Trail, being the Great Himalaya Trail, This was East to West across the top of Nepal taking 153 days land covering 1,750 Kms including 16 high passes above 5,000m…

Heather’s book Adventurous Spirit”published by Murdoch Books is due for re-lease in early September 2017.

In October 2017 Heather will be returning to Nepal for a 3.5 week trek with Hu-ma Charity Challenge, raising money for CanToo…and on completion of the trek will then head straight to Chile for the Volcano Marathon in early November – this Marathon is run at 4,400m.

Glen Phipps is an Exercise Physiologist on a mission to banish bioscience and fad based fitness. He formed Sports Science practice, Movement Lab out of the frustration of seeing others receive bad advice that was limiting their potential, or at worst, causing injury and suffering. As an aspiring athlete and an injured one, and in recent years, training around life changing illness and surgery, he’s aware of the misconceptions, confusion and frustration that pollutes the health and fitness circles.

He helped world champion athletes gain insight into small and simple changes that result in injury-free podium finishes, from World Champion Ironman to the world’s best Obstacle Racers, or the average Joe looking to trading for their first Triathlon. His passion is in blending the science of analyzing running technique with aspects of mindfulness to create effective training protocols and injury free athletes across a range of sports.

He holds the Guinness World Record for the furthest distance ran on a treadmill in 24 hours, ran 20 marathons in 29 days across Italy, ran with the Tarahumaras in the Mexican canyons and up and down the Grand Canyon. All for fun and to raise funds for a cause.

Cameron has ridden and worked on bikes since a very young age. During his Mechanical Engineering studies he started racing on the road; Cameron spent several years racing on a team in the National Road Series,competed in a handful of UCI races and spent a summer in Belgium, racing and drinking plenty of triple distilled beers. As head mechanic at The Rolling Fix he tries to stay on top of his physical wrenching skills by getting out in the vans however spends a lot of his time looking at service processes and designing more efficient and effective ways to work on bikes, Staying on top of new equipment from manufactures and making sure the staff a comfortable and have everything they need is key. Cameron knows how to keep a bike running smooth and fast.
